Hey guys... lots to say... lots going on... but gotta take it one chunk at a time.
So, in Matthew 5 it talks about "Blessed are the poor, for theirs is the kingdom" and then just a few verses latter in Matthew 6 it says "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you."
I'd never made the correlation about the kingdom in these 2 verses until this weekend. The kingdom belongs to the poor and we are commanded to seek the Kingdom of God... where are we guaranteed to find this kingdom? With the poor. Seems pretty clear -- let's be active seekers today and just maybe we might meet Jesus in 'the least of these.'
