Loosing my Passport

Not because I temporarily misplaced it, but because it is the last official piece of 'Walker' that needs to be changed to 'Priour'. And you have to mail your old one in to get your name changed and they send you a new one so you loose all of your stamps - which makes me feel like this:

I decided to take pictures of my stamps, to commemorate them before they are gone forever.

These are Turkey - I think year 1 & 2

This is my student visa when I studied abroad

Turkey & Iraq

So long former Passport - it's been real. Guess I'll have to get some more stamps!

Please don't hold me to this, but with mine, they just made a small ammendment in the back of the passport and sent it back to me. It still reads Jennifer Clark, but on the back page in small print it reads "ammended to Jennifer Whitlark." So, it is possible that you might receive your original one back with an ammendment. Again, don't hold me to that, but maybe it will work for you too.

that would be awesome! I had just heard that it went into the passport black hole. You have gotten my hopes up a little... but I'll probably forget in the 6-8 weeks it will take to get it back. haha

They no longer make amendments in the back. You'll get a brand new passport with a fancy chip in it now! But here's the good news: They send your old one back hole punched so you get to keep your stamps! :) I made copies of all of my stamps before sending it in. Pictures would have been a much better idea! Very happy you'll be ready to travel with your new name and husband! Miss and love you!

I would be very sad too, and I thought about that also when I had my name changed on my passport. But, they sent my old one back with the new like Abby described. yay! Hope y'all are doing well, friends!

At least you had the forethought to take the pictures!

Thanks for pointing out that I hadn't defined what I was meaning. I've added the definition. =)

Love and Respect? Isn't that a marriage book? Do you know something about my immediate future that I don't? =)
