Haydn Walker Priour

Hello! Sorry for delayed pictures. We just got home from the hospital a little bit ago. Our stay lasted longer than we thought it would. Let's just say I should have packed an extra pair of socks. Here is my 2 cents for my friends who have not yet had kids to help out the dad. Pack extra socks, make sure you have a comfy jacket and aleeve for your back. Dads you stand a lot so the aleeve is for your back. Now here are the much awaited pictures...

Friends meet our son Haydn Walker Priour. Isn't he just the cutest? I know I am biased but the nurses said he was cute too. =)

This is our first family picture!

Once Haydn was born we got a little bit of family time before he had to go to the nursery. Once we were there I was with him for about 4 hours while he was being checked out and hooked up to some machines. He was breathing really fast so he had to stay in the nursery for a while. His breathing has returned to normal but now they will be looking at an ekg to let us know about his heart murmur.

This is me and Haydn, I just had to put a pic of us up here. He doesn't look like me but I am holding out that he will get my blue eyes.

Here is another family pic!

This is Aunt Elyse. The first time she held Haydn she said, "Haydn I will get you anything your mom and dad say no to."

Dearest Auntie Elyse,
Thanks for all the help you have been. I like being held by you and I am glad you keep an eye on Uncle Stephen when he holds me. You don't have to anymore though, he is doing a great job and I like sleeping on him. Tomorrow I want him to change my diaper with your help. Now, for the stuff mom and dad are going to say no to. I want a trampoline when I learn to jump. When I turn 16 I would like a new car probably a truck like my daddy. I can wait till I am 18 if the laws change. I am sure there will be more stuff along way so I will let you know what else pops up that I want. O yeah, I love all my clothes you gave me thank you. I will try not to poop, pee, or throw up on you but I make no guarantees.
Love Haydn

Haydn day 2.

Here are some stats on Haydn for those who like that sort of thing.
- Born on 11-5-09 @ 9:06 PM
- 7lbs 5oz
- 21 inches long
- Hair on his head
- 10 toes and fingers (I counted in the nursery when he was under his heat lamp - that was the warmest I ever was in the hospital)

My Momma Loves Me
As some of you know the week before I was born my momma was told she had gallstones. She had several gallstone attacks before I was born and she and daddy were hoping that once I came out there would not be any more attacks because I would not be pushing on all moms organs. Today mom stated having gallbladder attacks again. It looks like she is going to have to have her gallbladder removed. Daddy told me that while mom was in labor she did really well. Once momma started pushing the nurse yelled WAIT and I was like nooooooooo I am ready to come out. But then I heard all these voices and mom was pushing again and I was on my way out. In less than 15 minutes of pushing my mom welcomed me into the world. I took one look at her after about 35 minutes and thought she was the most beautiful mom ever. I know I have kept her up a lot at night but she has been really patient with me. Sometimes I get to snuggle with her on my boppy while she is in bed.

Erin did a great job throughout everything. Please pray for her to not have anymore gallbladder attacks and that things will work out for us to get it removed quickly.

Hope you enjoyed the post!

Testing 123

Hello Folks this is just a test run for me to figure out how to post pictures to the blog. Have a great day!

This is the pic of a really large seagull I took in Turkey. They are bigger than the ones in Corpus!

Sometimes boys just need to get dirty!!

Things I am looking forward to in the states.

-All the electricity I want
-Skeet shooting with friends
-Fishing with my dad and Allen
-Having a little boy =) who I get to teach the above mentioned and probably below mentioned things to
-Smoking briskets with the above mentioned people
-Hunting if I have a place to hunt
-Grilling steaks, fajitas, pork chops and chicken
-Making guacamole with Erin
-Eating lots of great food
-BACON!!!!
-Hanging out with friends who love me, you know who you are!!
-Talking stocks with John

-Restaurants I want to eat at
Jaliscos and Adriana & Jennets both breakfast
Waterstreet and a nice steak house like Ruth Chris for dinner
Joe Cottons, Rudy’s, Ninfas, Kitox, Jaspers, Whataburger, Papa Rollo’s, Chick-fil-a, Lee’s, Bush’s Chicken and SWEET TEA

I would love for Erin to come shoot skeet with me but after we saw GI Joe I don’t think Haydn will like the noise. I would also like for her to get to go fishing with me, my dad and Allen cause she is better than a good luck charm! I would also love for her to be able to smoke briskets but the smoke might be too much so she and Haydn will get the joy of eating all the great food that is grilled. I will try to remember that most people other than myself like more than just meat for dinner so maybe we will have some rabbit food also.

Friends, did I forget any good places?

Randomness in the mind of Jeff Pt. 3

Right now we are out of Iraq for a couple for a couple of week. I finally have time to sit down and write a blog post or maybe two. So here goes:

-The other day Erin and I were going to pick some packages up and she noticed a monkey on a leash tied to a light pole One doesn’t see monkeys everyday tied to a light pole especially ones eating carrots!

- I have grown accustomed to visiting the bazaar (large primarily outside market where one can go to find almost anything you need. I typically take a taxi into the less crowded part of the bazaar and then walk out of it when I am ready to leave cause there is lots of traffic in the bazaar. As I was on my usual route walking out of the bazaar I noticed an old man sitting in a chair sleeping waiting for someone to hire him. Since then I have seen him sleeping in his chair in the morning, at lunch time and in the afternoon. Personally I think it is bad business because I wouldn’t wake someone from sleeping I would simply move onto the next person. But then someone who thinks differently than myself might think I will hire the sleeping man he should be well rested. Any thoughts?

- A month or so ago every time I sat down to type something I kept hitting the comma key and it really annoyed me so I am happy to say that since I started typing this post I have not hit the comma key once on accident.

- Being here in Turkey has been great. I have had some amazing chicken (something I don’t eat much of in Iraq). And I had a McFlurry and a chocolate dipped ice cream cone. I really miss great ice cream. We are staying in a friends house that is located pretty stinking close to the water so it has been great to hear and smell the water. It reminds me of home and then I get to thinking that I’m going fishing in about a month with my dad and Allen. Having lived in Corpus most of my life I am accustomed to seeing seagulls, some that are big and other that are small but the seagulls in Turkey are extra large. I took a picture of one cause I figured people wouldn’t believe me.

- Back to Iraq. I with the help of a couple of our interns finished painting the upstairs of our house. That is a huge relief!

- We also bought new curtains that are thicker, heavier, and darker for our living room so now that room is a little cooler and much more tolerable. I am still going to get a larger split (a/c) someday, hopefully!

- Thanks to one of our interns, Josh, I have started to get into photography. Part of the benefit to living overseas is that you get the opportunity to see amazingly beautiful places. Now I am just trying to learn how to take a little bit better pictures.

- Hopefully I will take some great ones in Thailand and you will get to see them.
That’s about all I have for this post. I hope you leave comments cause that is my favorite part about blogging, getting to read comments people left.

Improvement

I just wanted to take a few moments to report that Jeff & I are doing so much better. We've been in country for over 3 months now and praise the Lord, we are continuously improving.
I'm so proud of my husband... he has really pushed himself and is doing such a tremendous job of making the most of life here. Learning a new language with 44 letters in the alphabet, many of which make a sound that has no English equivalent is pretty daunting. Especially when you have to learn to read and write all over again! It is really neat to see how well loved Jeff is here. He says 'hello how are you' (in Kurdish) to just about every guy we pass on the streets and they all LOVE him. The shop owners and restaurant workers he has befriended are constantly giving him free stuff and refusing to let him pay for things because he has been such a good friend to them. Every time I am with our neighbors or the families we have helped through PLC they are always asking about Jeff and when they will see him again. He spends time most days in the big outdoor market just meeting people and practicing his Kurdish with them. I know it is exhausting trying to think and speak in another language all day but Jeff is doing such a great job and improving in his ability to understand and communicate every day.
It is hard. I know lots of you probably have hard jobs that you have to do every day. I just wanted everyone to know what a great job Jeff is doing and how even at the end of these long days of language learning he still comes home singing some oldies song and smiling. There aren't a lot of people here to pat you on the back for using a new word correctly or celebrate with you that you said what you meant to say to that guy and he understood you. I just wanted to invite you to celebrate Jeff with me and the strides he is making in loving people well and learning a really difficult language. Ultimately, this isn't about Jeff and his ability to learn Kurdish and succeed here. I think we both have come to understand in new ways the depths of grace available when we most need it. So, praise be to God who gives us every good thing and prepares good works in advance for us to walk in them!

Randomness in the mind of Jeff Part who knows!

I am going to be a father. This is on my mind a lot. I tried to read about called What to Expect when your Wife is Expanding. It was terrible, I don’t know enough about babies or pregnancy to distinguish what was for real and what they were joking about. Knowing me I would think something was a joke and it would have been really important. So to remedy this I found two books on Amazon to read. I also found a manly green diaper bag. HA!

When I googled babies there were 112,000,000 hits that came up hence the reason I went to Amazon. =)

Amazon still wasn’t as much help but at least they have a baby section.

I am really excited about being a dad if you hadn’t picked up that!

I don’t know how to baby proof a house. Well I know not to leave sharp objects or cleaning supplies laying around. I always told Erin I would get a gun safe when we had kids. The one I want is at Cabalas, it’s green and I can’t afford it. =(
I just looked at babies r us at safety stuff. You can get stuff to put on corners of tables, baby gates, and outlet covers (in Iraq all the outlets are up high at my house so I don’t have to worry about that one for a couple years.

A couple of days ago I saw a little kid carrying a chicken and thought, oh he is taking it home for dinner. I decided it was his pet when he opened his water bottle and tried to let it drink some of his water.

I saw a taxi trying to get out a mud filled parking lot today on my way home for lunch. I stood and watched and thought to myself. We drive a patrol (it is a beast of car that can handle just about anything) and I am not sure I would park in this lot. Primarily because once I stop the vehicle I have to get out and walk through the mud into my office. But as I stood there and laughed to myself with a huge smile on my face I thought about going and getting our patrol to pull him out then realized I didn’t have any chains and then realized even if I were to offer to help I might not be able to clearly communicate I was willing to help. So, as I continue to watch him spray mud everywhere and his tires spin and his taxi go nowhere. I couldn’t stop thinking about why you would drive into this parking lot in a 2-wheel drive vehicle. I still don’t have an answer but this thought has not left my head all day.

OK, I made it home from watching the taxi get unstuck and Erin and I are talking and I tell her I hear someone on the roof splashing around in water. (It has been raining) She says its probably the neighbors. I decide to go look and sure enough there is a neighbor on my roof standing in water up to his calves. I feel bad cause he is trying to get the water off my roof. Then it dawns on me. Crap is my roof somehow flooding his house? Of course I don’t know how to say this so I just say I’m sorry repeatedly. I call my friend who comes over and offers to help, he reassures me this is not my fault but that is the fault of the owner of the house. I say, “I know its not my fault but my neighbors are very nice to us and I want to make sure there house is ok, lets go talk to them.” We go over there and while I think the inside of their house is flooding they were worried about us because they just say the water running down the side of the house and not the drain. They were trying to help us out. It was very thoughtful. They made us tea and told us they were there to help us no matter what time it was all we had to do was knock. I always thought our neighbors liked us a lot but today with the help of my friend who speaks the language I found out how much they like us. A lot!

Today, as I am seeing my neighbor standing in ice cold water up to his calves and I am standing right outside the door in no water I learned how sloped our house is. (Don’t worry I didn’t make him stand in the cold water by himself. I ran over there and stood with him and said I’m sorry. My feet just warmed up. I hope I don’t get sick tomorrow.

We got a blender and make milkshakes now! =)

I think I found a bbq pit that will work for me =) =) =)

I’m sure there has been more funny stuff like me blowing our electricity twice trying to change light bulbs and the huge flies here that are so big they are slow and fairly easy to kill but I can’t think of anything else right now except for the huge pile of work I need to get done in the next hour. Enjoy!!

The Potty Post

In honor of one of my friends I am posting this blog. For those who don’t know in other parts of the world they do not always have toilets like we have in the states. A simple definition of the squatty is it a relatively nice porcelain hole in the ground in which you squat to take care of business.
I have come to realize that I am spoiled by the western toilet. Going to the bathroom used to be a place to get away from everything, it is a place where no one will bother you and you could sit in peace. Now, there is no sitting you can still get away from everyone but you probably don’t want to be in there any longer than you have to. It doesn’t smell nice. A friend once shared this advice with me. If work is stressful and you need a break go sit on the toilet, your boss may look for you but will not bother you if he finds you in the louver. The longer you are there the less likely someone will ask you to do more work. You can all thank me for this free tip by commenting on this post! =)
A few days ago I hung out with a couple of Kurdish guys who had lived in the states and they were telling me about having to run around and turn things on and off depending on whether or not we had national or community electricity. (Electricity here is complicated, perhaps when I fry something I will post about it. Also, notice I didn’t say if I fry something but chose the word when.) Anyway once they finished telling me about this, our conversation turned towards toilets. Their belief was that the western toilet was inferior to the squatty because with the western you have to take a magazine or book with you because it takes longer to take care of business when using a western toilet. They feel that when using a squatty all you have to do is go in squat and it all comes out and you are done. However, I believe the western is superior to the squatty because you get to sit and not squat. Sitting is much easier on the body and it usually gives you a chance to catch up on some reading or if you have a poker game on your phone you can play poker (Keith). While both views are valid, I am too old and my body is not made to squat for more than about 25 seconds to pick something up off the ground.
So yesterday I went and bought us a western toilet and in 2 days it should be installed. Now, here is why you should appreciate your toilet. In the states toilets have on the back down by the bottom a piece that looks like a S. You are probably thinking ‘so what?’. Well here is what! That S curve keeps the smell and other things from coming back into the toilet after it is used. So today be grateful for the technology we have in the states.
If you made it to the end of this post I hope you enjoyed it and got a little bit of humor along the way. Feel free to comment because If there are no comments it will likely be awhile before I post again. Dueces!!

my sneaky husband

I have this strange talent. Nothing double jointed or anything, but I have this thing with wrapped presents. Even when I was little, I would go around the tree shaking all the presents and telling everyone exactly what they were. And more often than not, I was totally right. I've always thought that I should set up a booth beside Santa in the mall and charge kids $0.25 a present for me to shake it and tell them what it was.
This year for my birthday my mom gave me a really pretty engraved Christmas snow globe. I shook it and jokingly said 'You got me a snow globe?'. Then I opened it to indeed find a snow globe. I don't know how I do it, but I do.
Jeff LOVES to buy presents. I think he gets more excited about the presents he buys people than the presents that he receives. He has the hardest time not telling me what he bought me because he is so excited about it. So, yesterday after work I come home and Jeff tells me he wrapped a present for me and I can go shake it, which is unusual because I'm normally not allowed to touch or shake the presents he gives me. So, I go over to the box, and pick it up and it has got to weigh like 10 pounds! So, I'm shaking it and it's unlike anything I've ever felt and the weight seems so evenly distributed but there is something inside that moves without disrupting weight distribution. I'm totally clueless, I can't figure out what it could possibly be (especially what it could possibly be that I would want). Jeff proceeds to laugh hysterically and do a little victory dance because I can't figure it out. Then he tells me that he ducktaped 3 pipe wrenches to the bottom of the box to throw me off...
I told him that I just inherited 3 pipe wrenches since they were in my present. He said that was fine, but when we needed to use them I was responsible for doing the work. So.... what is a pipe wrench anyway? Does it really have something to do with plumbing?

To my loving wife for all to know-

I have told you before that you are my favorite. Your response is usually favorite what? To which I reply my favorite everything. I would rather sit and do nothing or go on some crazy, long, fun something or other with you than anyone else. I know I often times get sidetracked or caught up in what I am doing or need to be doing and most likely forgot to show you all the love you deserve. For that I apologize. Today I want you to know how happy you make me. You do make me very happy even though I know my responses are often limited but inside I really am excited, happy and care a whole lot. With all the support stuff we having been doing there is absolutely no way as much would have been done if it wasn't for all your help. The other night as we were about to go to sleep you shared with me a page out of your journal about how you respected me. It really meant the world to me for you to share that with me. Thank you!! You are the love of my life and always will be. Know that you make me so incredibly happy and that I consider myself to be the luckiest man alive! I love you!!!

Things he Loves

Chelsea tagged me on this. Jen, I know you tagged me on that other husband thing... but that requires a cooperative husband - so far, no luck. So, in no particular order, here are most of the things Jeff loves:

Jeff loves to cook out and happens to be the best griller I've ever known! It's true. He would LOVE to have a grill like this some day!

He loves to hunt! Which also encompasses his love of weapons. Which has spurred my love for gun safes.

He also loves the stock market...this is kind of a love/hate relationship really. Like yesterday...yikes!

Jeff loves dogs! Especially big, cuddly ones or cute little ones that will become really big ones. The tiny dogs kind of scare him - sort of like babies.

Jeff loves tile showers. He has always wanted one and I'm pretty sure already has designed most of the elements of our future house in his head. We won't live there for another 10 years or so - but he's totally into all that stuff.

He loves his friends and hanging out with all of them. If you're not pictured you are still loved.

Jeff loves fishing! He and his dad used to go every Saturday morning when he was growing up.

He loves ice cream - more than anyone I've ever known...really.

Jeff loves to go to the movies, watch movies, he loves movies on sale, $0.50 Tuesday at the dollar movies. He loves all things movies!

He loves his truck! Really, he loves most trucks.

Jeff loves his family!

Jeff loves him some Dallas Cowboys!

And last but not least, he loves MEEEEEE!

200th post

Wow... I wish I had something more important to say. I just logged on to tell you about my new favorite product and realized that this is my 200th post. I momentarily considered trying to come up with something cooler to say, then I decided that would require a lot more time than I was intending to take. So on to the actual content of this post...

Downy Simple Pleasures laundry detergent!!!

I know this is going to make me sound kind of crazy, but I first smelled this on someone else's clothes like 3 months ago and was like "What IS that? I need that perfume." First, this was my sister so it wasn't like I was smelling some random person. When she told me it was her detergent I made her describe in detail the bottle but then she told me it was kind of expensive. So, I never bought any but made sure to tell Jeff that if he got some I would want to do laundry all the time! He looked at it at the store a few months ago and smelled it and told me it smelled too 'purple'. Well the other night he came home and surprised me with flowers and this laundry detergent!!! I think I was equally excited about both! I've been doing laundry today and I just have to say that this lavender and vanilla scent makes me feel REALLY happy and makes me want to do lots of laundry! I know Jeff's not thrilled about his clothes smelling 'purple' but I think this 'purple' smell is kind of magical. Well, back to the laundry...

Fishing

Most people who know me know my love for the outdoors. While Erin and I were in Corpus I got to take her fishing with me. I woke her up at 5:30 on a Tuesday morning and really didn't think she was going to be able to get out of bed. Once she was up I got dressed real quick and went to pick up breakfast for her with a large cup of coffee. When I got back she was wearing her fishing shirt I had gotten for her the night before. (A fishing shirt is a shirt that has vents in the back and under your arms to keep you cool.) Once I got back we headed out to the dock to put the boat in. The place we were fishing was a whopping 45 second boat ride away. When we got there we tied up to the bridge and got our fishing poles ready and began to fish. I got Erin all set up and then set my pole up and then she needed a new bait so I gave my pole to her so I could re bait her line and she caught a trout on my pole. It was her first keeper. (A keeper if a fish that is of minimum legal length to be kept. For a trout it is 15 inches and for a red fish or red drum as some people call it the legal minimum length is 20 inches.) After her first trout she caught some trash fish and then Erin caught a 23 inch red drum. It was the biggest fish on the boat until I caught my 24 inch red. Here is a picture of us with our red fish.

I was so proud of her for holding her fish even though it was slimy. I learned that Erin is an amazing fisher woman. She caught 2 keeper trout and 2 red fish along with several fish that were not keepers. Our fishing trip was lots of fun, a large part of that was because I got to share something I have loved for the last 19 years with my wife. To see her succeed and catch all those fish was a great feeling. I decided that the feeling I had with Erin must be very close to the feeling my dad had all the years that we fished together and he baited my hook and took my fish off the line and fixed stuff i broke before I learned how to do it myself.

I almost forgot Erin wrote a song while we were fishing to the tune of 'Baby Got Back'. It goes like this:

I like big fish and I cannot lie
You other brothers can't deny
When a fish swims up with a real big mouth and some big fins on the side
You get HOOKED like a fish on a lure...

This is all we can remember right now but needless to say the song was hilarious.

Yay Jeff!

Yesterday was a momentous occasion in the Priour household... Jeff's college graduation! It was a really fun time of celebrating with family and friends.

The graduate himself... with his parents. "Thanks for all the help, mom and dad"

Unfortunately, I didn't get too many good pictures of the actual ceremony. Jeff's Dad went down to the front to get a close up shot of Jeff being handed a fiploma (fake diploma), his real one doesn't come in for another 6 weeks! Here's the shot:

This lady has the worst timing and apparently hasn't learned the 'don't walk in front of people holding cameras' etiquette. So, behind her head is the dean handing Jeff his fiploma.

Here's everyone moving their tassels to other side. Jeff was way in the back, but you can imagine what he looked like...

After graduation we went to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for dinner. I'm not real big on being a decadent American, most people know this about me. But, that was a ridiculously AMAZING dinner... a cow never tasted so good.

After dinner we had everyone over to our apartment for cake and ice cream. Here's Jeff with his cake. I think he was more excited about this than dinner - boys...

Congratulations Jeff! It was fun to celebrate with you yesterday, we are so proud of you!

Reflections on 100 days...

Well, not to overwhelm you with lots of posts this week (this is Erin), I guess Spring is bringing us out of hibernation. Today is 100 days that we have been married. It seems longer and shorter at the same time - but I think mostly longer =o). I started looking back at my journal a couple weeks ago and reflecting on all I've 'learned' (I use this word really loosely, we are on a really high learning curve) since we've been married. I thought I would share with you all, and Jeff might add some of his reflections at the end.

- respond in thankfulness, to God and to my husband

- when in doubt, choose grace, love or patience (preferably all of them)

- Proverbs 1:33, don't fall into the trap of complacency - it is deceptively easy, but it will steal your joy and replace it with fear.

- seek FIRST the Kingdom, before anything else - or I'm pretty worthless

- fear the Lord! A healthy fear of God can help you respect your spouse.

- From my journal on 2/7 "If there was ever any doubt, I'm definitely married to the most wonderful man in the whole world."

- Jeff is my ally, Satan is my enemy.

- Being Mrs. Priour is a lot like being Erin Walker, but it is still vastly different ... and that is okay.

- I need to be able to find beauty/romance in the everydayness of life

- Every day is an opportunity to worship and no one can steal that away without my consent.

- the entirety of the Bible is like one long list of reasons why God should have destroyed everyone and instead He made a path for forgiveness - proving that love ALWAYS wins

- Jeff is hilarious, beyond generous, and SO fun to be with every day

- Pray! There can be no victory where there is no prayer

- Marriage kicks dating's ass (there really is no better way to say that)

- some 'things' don't always come naturally - I mean, it takes some practice (I'm being purposely vague)

- Shut your mouth! Seriously! It is not necessary for me to express every single time my feelings get hurt.

- laughter and sense of humor are absolutely necessary.

- I have the capacity to hate and love in the same moment, but like Jesus said 'blessing and cursing should not come out of the same mouth' I must choose.

- 'To learn you must love discipline, it is stupid to hate correction' Proverbs12:1. Jeff can sharpen me if I will be soft and moldable and accept correction.

- I snore sometimes. Jeff even recorded it because I didn't believe him.

These are Jeff's reflections:

- Every moment you have a choice to make about your attitude, words, actions, and feelings.

- The hard times do not compare to how great the good times are!

- Everyday is an opportunity o make life long memories.

Please feel free to share your own reflections and lessons you have learned.

Randomness in the mind of Jeff

Hola Como estas me llamo Jefe! I have been encouraged to make a post on the blog. I am still not sure exactly what I will say hence the title Randomness in the mind of Jeff. I have read many blogs and enjoy reading so hopefully whoever reads this will enjoy it and possibly get a laugh or 2 out of it.

1. When I go shopping and am pushing the basket out of the store and I see there is a decline in the parking lot I usually hold myself up on the bar and let the decline take me to my truck or I end up stopping sooner than I would like cause I'm about to hit someone, something, or get hit myself. However, it is important to remember to only do this when stuff is in the basket otherwise the front 2 wheels come up and you fall over. (This happened today).

2. Erin got employee of the month this month which comes with several perks including a parking space. Way to go honey I'm so proud of you!

3. If nothing sounds good to Erin for dinner I can always make sausage and rice and the problem is solved.

4. I haven't been feeling great the last couple of days so I went to the quack shack yesterday and they gave me lots of medicine and told me not to operate heavy machinery and some other stuff that I forgot. (side note- to me heavy machinery means construction machinery or perhaps a huge farm tractor) So, since I have been at the house today I have been bored and decided to do the dishes. Well...I reached under the sink to grab the soap for the dishwasher and before I grabbed it I remembered we were out so I went to the store to buy a few things and while I was at the store I found myself talking out loud. No one else was around so I had to be talking to me but it made me wonder if it was the medicine or if this is a normal thing for me. I'm going to hope its the medicine cause I don't want to be crazy.

5. The country radio station I listen to plays much better music during the day than when I usually get to listen. This is a little disappointing to me cause I want to hear the good songs with I'm in the car stuck in traffic.

6. I've been looking around the apartment at all the decorations on wall and am really thankful for a wife who is a talented artist and has a knack for turning an apartment into a home. Thank you Erin!!

Well folks I think that about wraps things up for today. If you want me to post again leave me a comment cause if you don't I probably won't (that rhymes)
